Why I Do this Blog:

This blog is an avenue for me to express in words the things that i see, encounter, and feel. I feel that on the daily, as an individual, I am labeled and boxed into a corner to be what I appear to be and I am so much more than what anybody can base off of my actions, appearance, or a simple stereotype. So if you care to see the REAL ME, then go ahead an indulge.

P.S. : ANYTHING on this page was thought of/created by me, unless credit was given elsewhere!!

MY people (blacks)

I LOVE my black people with everything in my heart, and I will continue to scream it til' im dead!
There are a lot of people that see and speak of things that are wrong within the black community, and therefore choose to not want to identify whole-heartedly with the race of black.

Here are some of the claims:
-black people don't know how to act
-black people are all about materialistic values in regards to money
-black people don't strive to be a part of positive and uplifting things

I also agree with some of these complaints, but just in a different way, let me explain the other side to some of these claims.

First of all, you can NOT say that black people don't know how to act, because then you are just buying into the theme of "the stereotypical black person". Hell, mexicans act up, as well as whites. One of the biggest themes of life is "choice"; the choice of being what you want to be; doing what you want to do. So don't diss the race, diss the choice of action, because EVERY race has a percentage that choses to not seek it's highest potential, and nothing in life is perfect except the love of Jesus Christ. We all sin and fall short.

Second, it is a double-sided truth to the belief that black people are slaves to material wishes and are slaves to marketing(the sell out theories). Everybody wants nice things that are pleasing to them, so to place a frown against blacks is ubsurd. There tends to be a theme that has been repeated every since slavery, that "white is better than black", and when we as black people choose to diss our own because of the things they choose to like, we are further delaying the progress of our people. Look at something such as rims, rims are something that white and black people like, and though black people may aim to get them more than whites, white people still like them. Then they speak of how blacks will spend money on pointless things before their bills...so do some white people; that black people sponge off of welfare....so do some white people. The difference is all about preference.
But lets not forget, they say that blacks are being used to convince other blacks to buy into white agendas. FACE THE FACTS!! WHITE PEOPLE RUN THIS COUNTRY AND HAVE ALL THE POWER!!!! If you want any success in this world, you HAVE to work with them, and us as black consumers don't buy into the black face only, it is also the actual product also, don't let them lie to you. They talk about how black males sag, and they say well that came from prison and thats gay, but yet its accepted when a white male wears skinny jeans, which were designed first for women to show their lower assets, but isnt that just as bad as sagging???But since "black is less", they get accepted and blacks sagging is not. Though i myself, don't like sagging like that.

Next, they say black people don't strive to be anything or have goals. That's not fully true. Some blacks, as well as others, don't come from where you get to see your people do great things, and even though we all have some sort of an opportunity to change or paths and destiny, some people dont see that as possible, because they haven't been surrounded by opportunity, and others just choose not to, as do some whites, but don't write off the race because of that.

There are a lot of things bad in the black race, but there are a lot of good things too. We as a people need to unite. During the Civil Rights Movement, blacks were united against the struggle of oppression, but once they threw us an inch we did in fact take a mile, we took that mile when we started to seperate as if we had arrived, and we started to think we were better, but all of these themes are manifestations of slavery. Slavery set us back so many years and the hurt and ideas have been implanted into the black beliefs on the world, and when you as a black person, look down on another or diss the race as a whole, you are not helping to uplift them, you are hurting them, because nothing hinders a person more than when his own family/people don't want anything to do with him. You can never truly help some one when you can't stop for even a second from turning your nose up at them. Even the LORD says to "be in the world, but not of it", so if you are enlightened and on the path to success, don't let your people stop you, but also try to uplift them, or just accept things as they are and say nothing. If you want change from the slave mentality, be the change that you want to see and stop being that house nigger that thinks that the white man loves you, but he's really just giving you a little piece of his scraps, and stop boasting in your own people's face.

Yes part of the white plan is to keep the black man down, BUT the other part is to create divide, thats how drugs spread in the streets and how weapons soread in the streets also. If there are two cars and one has four white people and the other has four black males, and the white cop has to stop one...NEWS FLASH, the niggaz are getting stopped. The sad thing is that a black cop would do the same thing, because we are spreading divide within our own people. Blacks that look down on others are just as bad as blacks killing others in these streets, because you are killing the black unity. Unity is the key to black uplift.

I LOVE MY PEOPLE WITH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Faith

"Though truth is an important part of life, sometimes truth isn't enough...sometimes people need/deserve to have their faith rewarded."
-Inspired by Dark Night

This is something that you can take on both a spiritual and relationship basis. If you are somebody that has gone through pain or a broken heart and you have lost the desire to try again, or if you have gone through hard times and have started to lose faith, this applies to you. When you have been hurt in the past and have moved along, the hurt still lingers, and somebody great may come along and you wont realize because instead of having faith you write them off, or you'll have a blessing coming your way, but you will miss out because you are too focused on your problems. Sometimes if we just stop thinking so hard and accept the situation, it will work itself out, before we further destroy things. Fear is the chain that consumes our souls; fear that things wont work out; fear that it is not the time or situation. Faith is our most powerful tool in this struggle. You have to have "genuine faith". You can not tell faith that now or later is or isn't the time. The key to finding happiness and/or love is not trust in some other person, it is THE TRUST IN YOUR OWN FAITH. Some of us will not be greatly blessed in life because we want control, when in reality, God is in control. You may not recieve many blessings now but when this life is over, Faith, will be rewarded. If you don't have faith, you will NEVER TRULY be rewarded. "...sometimes truth isn't enough...sometimes people need/deserve to have their faith rewarded." But, only deserving faith shall be rewarded.

The Serenity Prayer (slightly revised)

God grant me the serenity
to accept not only the things I cannot change,
but what i no longer can change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him;
Forever in the next.
Amen.

"The Deception of a Heart"

"The Deception of a Heart"

Wrapping a lie
to sell as the truth
All of which is legal
In the deception of a Heart

Fueling a fire
to consume one in the end
All of which is legal
In the deception of a Heart

Murdering a soul
to sell at one's expense
All of which is legal
In the deception of a Heart

So I left you for dead
so i could rise once again
All of which is legal
In the deception of a Heart

Dear 2010

2009 broke me down in ways i never thought could happen. I cried tears i didnt have this past year as life as i knew it turned upside down and my heart collapsed under the pressure. I took so many punches this past year that i lost count, im tired of taking losses, but not this year that approaches. I cant survive another year that 2009 was. I'll never turn my back on my people, but i cant save a whole nation, I gotta save me. Those that i loved, turned their backs on me when I needed them the most. This past year stole my desire for life away from me, to where now I have reached the point to where I only desire power in my life. Power of wealth, but most importantly the power in Christ. There's only to things certain in life, pain and death, and through my pain im going to strive for the best. I have separated myself from the attention seeking, popularity hungry slut of an existence of the world. I used to break my back to make people feel the love in my heart, and they still dont love me. The more I love them, the more i hate myself, people make you lose yourself to gain a stingy piece of them. Im the story of the loner with the heart of gold, but looked at as tarnished. They see anger on the outside because inside I be paining. But i dried my eyes and life goes on. Hello 2010, will you hug me or stab me; embrace or erase me? Either way, I own you and not the other way around.

The Irony behind Humanity

The thing about life that sucks the most is the people that live it. Have you ever sat around a group of people, and once it got quiet, looked around and realized that everybody was being held captive by their own thoughts, and wondered what was on their mind, while thinking about what's on yours? We go around everyday and pass somebody up, but never stop to think that the person you walked by is thinking just like you are...feeling pains like you are...but most importantly, is gonna die like you are. We feel we have to be better than others or equal to others, but life already equals us out more than once. People spend their whole lives trying to seek the approval of others or trying to strive to be what others are out of envy or to make the one person we want to want us back. Why? All those people are going to die one day and have to face judgment before GOD and go to Heaven or hell just like you. I learned my lesson about all these things. No one or nothing on this Earth can save your soul but the LORD, so why spend all our energy trying to make these things love you when you're already loved? We sell our souls away piece by piece everyday for the love that we already have from above. So when you walk down the street and you see somebody down and out, or you sit in a room full of people, look at their faces and realize that we are all one in the same and we all have our own crosses to carry, instead of weighing down somebody's cross, help them carry it. Be uplifting instead of abrasive to that of which you don't understand, because one day, it will all be clear. LIFE'S FINAL COMMON DENOMINATOR IS DEATH!
